Material
Our frames are crafted from the finest Italian cellulose acetate, reinforced with German-made premium wires and hinges for superior durability. The lenses are made from Columbia Resin CR-39® or Nylon.
Our glasses are handmade in China. We work closely with skilled artisans with decades of experience and state-of-the-art facilities to ensure every piece meets our rigorous standards of excellence, precision, and durability.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-based polymer derived from renewable resources, wood pulp, and cotton fiber. Acetate is known for its lightweight feel, durability, flexibility, and rich color. This exceptional material creates frames that are comfortable to wear, easy to adjust, hypoallergenic, and long-lasting.
CR-39® (Columbia Resin 39) was originally developed in 1940 by PPG Industries for military applications, including aircraft windshields and fuel tanks. The name CR-39® comes from Columbia Resin, batch 39, the specific formulation that proved ideal for optical use. Recognized for its exceptional optical clarity, CR-39® provides the best color and vision clarity next to mineral glass, while being half the weight and 10 times more shatter-resistant. Additionally, CR-39® is naturally scratch-resistant, making it a preferred choice for premium eyewear
Nylon lenses, also known as polyamide lenses, are high-performance sunglass lenses crafted from a lightweight, flexible, and impact-resistant material that delivers excellent optical clarity. With superior shock resistance and a high Abbe value, they provide crisp vision with minimal distortion and enhanced protection, making them a preferred choice in both fashion and luxury eyewear.
Lens categories classify sunglasses based on their tint darkness and light transmission levels.
- Category 0 – Clear or very light tint, ideal for indoor or low-light conditions.
- Category 1 – Light tint, suitable for overcast days with minimal sun exposure.
- Category 2 – Medium tint, good for everyday wear with moderate sunlight.
- Category 3 – Dark tint, offering strong sun protection, ideal for bright outdoor conditions.
- Category 4 – Very dark tint, designed for extreme sun exposure, such as high-altitude or water environments. (Not suitable for driving.)
Size & Fit
The size of your glasses is typically indicated on the inside of the temple arm, represented by three numbers (xx-xx-xxx). The first number refers to the lens width, which measures the width of one lens at its widest point. The second number represents the bridge width, indicating the distance between the lenses. The third number is the temple length, which measures the length of the arms from the frame to the ear.
A well-fitting frame should sit comfortably on your face without feeling too tight or too loose. To find your best fit, compare the measurements on the inside of the temple arm (xx-xx-xxx) with a pair of glasses you already own.
You can also utilize our virtual try-on tool, which allows you to see how the frames will look on your face before making a purchase.
The Virtual Try-On tool is a third-party, AR-powered technology designed to make finding your perfect pair of glasses effortless and interactive. It allows you to instantly preview different frames and styles from the comfort of your phone, tablet, or desktop.
Simply tap the ‘Virtual Try-On’ button to see frames in real-time through your device camera. The tool utilizes precise biometric scaling and pupillary distance (PD) measurement to ensure your glasses fit properly and that the lenses are aligned correctly.
We do not currently offer prescription lenses, but we plan to introduce them in the future. Stay tuned for updates! Our sunglasses are designed to accommodate prescription lenses. If you need a prescription, we recommend visiting an authorized optician who can assist you with your prescription lens fitting.
care
To maintain the quality and longevity of your sunglasses, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a microfiber cloth and a lens-safe cleaning solution to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid abrasive materials and harsh chemicals, such as paper towels, clothing, household cleaners, or alcohol-based products.
- Storage: Always keep your sunglasses in a protective case when not in use to prevent scratches and accidental damage.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Prolonged exposure to high heat, such as leaving your sunglasses in a hot car, can warp the frame or affect the lens coating.
